Bouncing Ball on Cotton
(No Mess Left Behind)
Ages: children 5+, teens, adults - up to 22 participants - 60 min. Workshop
Our magical project is perfect for young children! This enchanting workshop is all about drawing on cotton fabric and witnessing the magic come to life. With a blend of alcohol and vinegar, watch as the colors interact and create a mesmerizing watercolor effect. Participants will have the opportunity to experiment with permanent markers and recycled objects, allowing them to craft their own vibrant masterpiece. Once your creation is complete, allow it to dry undisturbed at the venue, for approximately 24 hours. Once dry, iron it on the cotton setting, on a scrap piece of cloth. This process should set most colors except the red. The fabric itself is made from 100% cotton and measures a generous 15” x 15”. With adult participation required with each child under the age of 10, this is a bonding experience like no other.
Please inform participants: This is not a drop-off class. Adult participation is required with each child under the age of 10. We will be using waterproof permanent markers so bring an old shirt to protect your clothing.
