A great beginner candle making kit for kids! You can safely make your own colorful candle at home. The glass container is approximately 3” dia. x 3.5” high and the finished candle’s net weight is approximately 5 oz. It’s recommended that a caregiver be present for children under the age of 10 to help with the project.

Bouncing Ball on Cotton Kit

Perfect for young children! This is a fascinating project, draw on cotton fabric, add the alcohol/vinegar blend and watch the magic happen! You will experiment with designing and blending permanent markers with rubbing alcohol/vinegar, creating a watercolor effect. Your project will look awesome! The fabric has to dry overnight and placed in a hot dryer for the colors to completely set. The fabric is 100% cotton and measures approximately 15” x 15”. It’s recommended that a caregiver be present for children under the age of 10 to help with the project.
The science behind it: This project involves the concepts of solubility, color mixing and the movement of molecules. Permanent markers contain permanent ink which will not wash away with water thus making them hydrophobic, meaning not soluble in water. However, the molecules of ink are soluble in a solvent such as rubbing alcohol. This solvent carries the different colors of ink with it as it spreads on the cloth.

Ideal for the beginner, no experience necessary
You will be guided through step by step instructions to create a “tie dye style” scarf using a permanent, high chroma, highly transparent liquid fabric paint. Allow it to dry overnight and once the piece is dry, it can be ironed on the silk setting to permanently set the colors.
The scarf is 100% silk with a hand rolled hem (hand sewn hem) and it is 8” x 54”.

Goldfish Greeting Card Kit, Introduction to Paper Quilling -

We are also following the CDC recommended preventive measures of washing/sanitizing our hands frequently, especially before dispensing products into bags or containers and before packing and labeling.
