Clay Tiles

These are very clean programs, there won’t be any clay remnants or paint left behind. Suggestions and ideas from hosting venues are always welcome.

Ages: 5+, teens and adults

up to 20 participants max - 60 min. Workshop

This is an all ages, family-friendly hands-on workshop, exploring creativity and techniques. We will use self-hardening clay to create an under the sea creatures or tile project. It will be painted with a non-toxic acrylic paint in a variety of colors before taken home by each participant at the end of the workshop. There’s no glazing and kiln firing involved.

A caregiver must be hands-on and actively involved with each child under the age of 8 to help with the project. We will be using acrylic paints so bring an old shirt to protect your clothing

Venue Requirements

Volunteer/assistant from the venue

One table for the artist and tables and chairs for the participants

I will bring everything else!

Pricing and Other Details

Audience size: 20 participants max - 60 min. program (plus 45 min. set-up & 30 min. clean-up)

Fee for the first 15 participants including all materials____$299 +mileage (see below)

Extra participants up to 20 will be charged $6 for each participant present and making a project.

Same day/location program: ask for discounted price

** If you would like to register more than 22 participants, there is an additional $50 charge to have a second lead teacher on site. With 2 teachers there is a maximum of 40 students.

Travel Fee: $0.60/mile - Mileage discounts are available for multiple workshops in the same area. The travel fee is capped at $125 for most programs.

Travel Fee: Mileage discounts are available for multiple workshops in the same area. If we can book you on the same day with another venue, within 15 miles from your venue, we will split the fee between the two venues.
